1. Scope
This policy covers the Synqit service and this website. Any privacy question: letstalk@synqit.in.
2. What we collect
Account data. Your email address, your name, and — if you sign in with Google — the identifier and profile picture Google returns. Passwords are stored only as a hash and are never readable by us.
What you create. Your projects, designs, schematics, boards, models, uploaded files and the conversations you have with the assistant. We store these so the service works and so your work is there when you return.
Usage records. Per-turn records of what the service did: how long a design took, how many model calls it made, how many components resulted and whether it failed. We use these to find defects and to measure cost.
Payment records. Your plan, its status and your allowance. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
Your own API key, if you provide one. Stored encrypted. It is never returned to the browser, never written to logs and never shown again — only whether a key is set, and its last four characters.
3. Why we process it
To operate the service and keep your work available; to bill correctly; to keep the service secure; to diagnose faults and improve the product; and to comply with the law.
4. Who it is shared with
Model providers. Your prompts, and the design context needed to answer them, are sent to the language-model provider serving your request — today Microsoft Azure OpenAI, or the provider whose API key you supplied.
Payment provider. Enough to take a payment and tell us it succeeded.
Infrastructure. Our hosting provider, which stores the data at rest.
Meta (advertising). Our website and the product use the Meta Pixel. It tells Meta Platforms which pages you visit, along with your browser’s IP address and device details, so we can measure our advertising and show our ads to people likely to find Synqit useful. It never receives your designs, prompts, files or API key. Meta handles this data under its own privacy policy.
Google (analytics). Our website and the product use Google Analytics. It tells Google which pages you visit, along with your browser’s IP address and device details, so we can see which parts of Synqit people actually use. It never receives your designs, prompts, files or API key. Google handles this data under its own privacy policy.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share your designs with other users.
5. Where it is stored
On servers we operate, and with the processors listed above, some of whom operate outside India. Where data crosses a border we rely on that processor’s own contractual safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
Account and design data for as long as your account exists. Delete your account and we delete them, except where a record must be kept for tax or legal reasons. Usage records are kept in aggregate for service analysis.
7. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to letstalk@synqit.in and we will respond within a reasonable period.
8. Cookies
The product sets a session cookie so you stay signed in; it is necessary for the service
to function. Both the website and the product also load the Meta Pixel, which sets an
advertising cookie (_fbp) to recognise a returning browser. You can block it
with your browser’s cookie settings or a tracker blocker without affecting the service,
and you can control how Meta uses it in your
Meta ad preferences.
They also load Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies (_ga and
_ga_*) to recognise a returning browser and count a visit once rather than
twice. The same applies: block it with your browser’s cookie settings or a tracker
blocker and the service still works.
9. Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed. Provider API keys are stored encrypted and are never returned. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you if a breach affects your data.
10. Children
Synqit is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
We update this page when our processing changes, and note the date at the top.
